The result of a successful collaboration between master angler Gábor Döme and the Japanese hook manufacturer Gamakatsu.
The Fine Carp is a spade-end feeder hook based on the 2210B, with a point bent out of plane, a wide gape and a short shank. It is designed primarily for carp fishing with live baits. Thanks to the A1 material, it is exceptionally thin and lightweight yet remarkably strong, making it effective for almost any fine-tackle carp-fishing method.
The extended, thin point, slightly bent out of plane and hardened several times, provides particularly good penetration. When it enters a carp's thick, fleshy mouth, it grips a large amount of tissue relative to the hook size, making it extremely difficult for the hook to come free even during a long fight. It is no surprise that anglers of all skill levels count this design among their favourite hooks.
