The result of a successful collaboration between master angler Gábor Döme and the Japanese hook manufacturer Gamakatsu.
The Strong Carp is based on the G-Carp Specialist and is a thick-wire, eyed carp hook designed for large and often trophy-sized fish. Most feeder anglers rarely need size 1 or 2 hooks, but they often need a strong, hard size 10 or 12. The Strong Carp fills this gap and is made from top-quality A1 steel.
Its point geometry provides fast, precise penetration with very little force. It is a formidable opponent for hard-mouthed river fish and can be trusted in the toughest terrain. Once a fish takes the bait, it is very unlikely to escape. It is particularly recommended for hair rigs using corn or pellets. It can be used with monofilament, but its exceptional strength is best utilised with braided line.
