A magnetic-lock bite indicator designed for anglers who dislike clip-style line releases.
With this design, line diameter does not matter: simply snap the lock back into place and tension the line. When a bite occurs, the lock releases automatically before the strike.
The line tension can be adjusted for the current wind and waves using the sliding weight on the arm.
