Special material properties make it possible to produce exceptionally light yet strong hooks. The G-Carp A1 Long Claw is made from fine wire and features a discreet, razor-sharp inward-pointing hook point.
Its long, curved shank and short point provide a very strong hook hold. Ideal for carp fishing in many situations.
A1 is a high-carbon, high-vanadium steel free from impurities, produced using Gamakatsu's specialised heat-treatment process. The hooks are heated and then cooled again in oil. As a result, G-Carp A1 hooks are 20% stronger and 25% harder than hooks made from standard steel.
