Sinking, camouflaged braided hooklength line.
Created in 1992 and refined over the years, Merlin is one of the most popular traditional lines even among professional anglers. Tens of thousands of fish have already been caught on it, including numerous world records!
High-strength Dyneema fibres are compressed with high-strength polyester to form a robust yet extremely soft, flexible braid. Its strength is most evident in snaggy waters with dense underwater vegetation. Its suppleness lets it follow currents naturally and present bait in a lifelike way, and it can be tied to a hook without a knot. It is thin enough to sink very well and offers high abrasion resistance and breaking strength.
