A professional device with theft protection and a battery-voltage meter!
Low power consumption, a large indicator LED and a modern design make this excellent bite alarm stand out, with a wide range of adjustment options. It provides a 15-second post-bite indication and has a range of 150–300 m.
USING THE BITE ALARM: Insert a 9 V battery into each transmitter, observing the correct polarity. To switch the device on or off, press and hold the central white LED button for at least 2 seconds.
LED button functions: First click: turn on the night light (with a light sensor). Second click: enable the theft alarm (the alarm sounds if the rod is lifted). Third click: turn off the night light. Fourth click: disable the theft alarm. If the battery voltage falls below 5.5 V, the LED button starts flashing.
Turn the V button to select one of six volume levels.
Turn the T button to select one of six tones.
Turn the S button to select one of six sensitivity levels to suit waves and wind. (Level 1 is the most sensitive.)
When line is pulled, the running LED display lights upwards; on a drop-back bite, the lights move from top to bottom. The identification light (red, blue, green or yellow) stays on continuously for 15 seconds after a bite.
USING THE RECEIVER: Insert three AAA batteries into the receiver, observing the correct polarity. Press and hold the black Function button at the upper right for 3 seconds. The unit switches on with a short beep and its LEDs flash. To switch it off, hold the button for 3 seconds; a long beep confirms shutdown.
The receiver lets you adjust your bite alarms remotely. Briefly press the black Function button: the red LED lights up, the central LED button flashes, and the side LEDs (V/T/S) begin flashing. In this mode, you can adjust the bite alarm assigned to the red indicator.
Briefly press the central LED button to select the volume (V), tone (T) or sensitivity (S) menu, then use the V+ and V− buttons to adjust the bite alarm.
Press and hold the central LED button to switch the anti-theft function on or off. Select the other bite alarms (blue, green and yellow) by briefly pressing the black Function button again. On the fifth press, the upper-left pair of LEDs glows blue to indicate that the transmitter and receiver are within range. Press a sixth time to exit the menu.
Press and hold the central LED button for 3 seconds to switch on the receiver's night light.
The V+ and V− buttons provide five volume levels. At the lowest level, the receiver switches to vibration mode.
On a run, both lights flash red; on a drop-back bite, they flash blue. If the battery voltage falls below 3.3 V, the blue and red lights flash simultaneously.
RE-PAIRING: Press the concealed button on the back of the device to turn on the red LED. Turn the magnetic wheel (line guide roller) on the bite alarm with the red indicator; the unit registers the transmitter with a beep. Press the concealed button again to pair the next bite alarms (blue, green and yellow).
MAINTENANCE: Always remove the batteries after use and store the set without batteries. The set is waterproof. However, if water reaches the internal electronics and the bite alarm starts lighting or beeping continuously, remove the batteries and leave the rear cover open until it dries.
