We recommend the shorter models to anglers who simply want to keep their catch safe, while the longer versions can also be practical for amateur competitions.
At modern competitions, caught fish must be returned after weighing, and it is the competitor's responsibility to keep each fish safe until then. The most important consideration is therefore quality: the net must be made from material that will not injure the fish.
Fish settle down in a large keepnet like this, and the rigid aluminium supports provide plenty of room to move. The strong, fine micro-mesh resists abrasion from rough lakebeds even in sustained waves, yet remains soft enough not to irritate fish. There is little risk of tearing the net and losing the fish. It is suitable for fish of almost any size, especially for stillwater fishing.
The keepnet head has an adjustable tilt and a standard threaded connector, allowing it to attach to a horizontal or vertical adapter or a bankstick. The mesh is made from quick-drying material.
