The TEAM FEEDER Power Fighter family is the best-selling feeder rod range.
True to its predecessors, the main design goals for these rods were to maintain an affordable price while using the highest-quality materials possible for that price. The improved materials have made the rods slimmer, lighter and stiffer, while also increasing their load capacity.
We can confidently say that these rods are unbreakable when used as intended!
The slimmer handle, neatly finished with a cork and EVA combination, is particularly striking. It replaces the bulky feel of earlier rods with a more refined feeder-rod design, while making the rod lighter and easier to handle. A slimmer, finer reel seat would suit the handle, so we replaced it with a stronger screw-locking model that even strong-handed anglers cannot overtighten.
On the 3.3 m, 3.6 m and 3.9 m Power Fighter rods, the handle is 47 cm long; on the 4.2 m version it is 57 cm, longer than average. This increased leverage lets you cast your rig surprisingly far with less effort. Instead of the old fixed hook keeper, the blank now has a practical folding hook-keeper loop. It may seem like a small detail, but it shows the attention paid to every part of the rod. The tip guides have also been upgraded: unlike the earlier version, they now have a reinforced double-support design. This reduces the chance of line wrapping around the final guide and consequently helps prevent tip breakage.
