The XS-1 is one of the most popular carp-hook shapes today.
Thanks to its unique bent shape and Teflon coating, shrink tubing is unnecessary; the hook is always positioned optimally for an approaching fish.
Its design usually causes it to hook into the lower lip. Many anglers use it for KD rigs with pop-up baits, but it is recommended for any classic end rig presenting either pop-ups or standard baits.
