Torrent Carp 5000 5+1-PACK

A range of baitrunner reels designed for carp fishing.
One major advantage of wide-spool reels, which have become popular in recent years, is that the larger spool maintains good line retrieval while allowing a lower gear ratio. The lower-ratio gearing runs more easily and handles strain much better. The larger rotor also makes these reels fit more comfortably in the hand and easier to use.
The shaped spool lip (ADVANCED LIP) helps line peel off more smoothly, allowing longer casts. The finely machined lip will not damage even thin lines. The reliable LCS baitrunner system switches over after just a quarter turn of the handle. The baitrunner tension can be adjusted over a wide range, from very loose to very tight. Five steel ball bearings plus a roller bearing provide exceptionally smooth running, even when playing fish. The line roller bearing handles the strain caused by braided line. The finely adjustable front drag helps prevent lost fish when using thinner hooklinks. The handle has a large knob for comfortable, secure winding in and out.
