Electronic bite alarm with a bite-direction LED display and elevated rod rests!
A V-LED bar indicates the direction of a bite. On a run, the lights move up the LED bar and one beep sounds; two beeps and lights moving down indicate a drop-back bite. Low power consumption, a large indicator LED and a modern design make this excellent bite alarm stand out, with a wide range of adjustment options. It provides a 10-second post-bite indication and has a range of 150–300 m.
USING THE BITE ALARM: Insert a 9 V battery into each transmitter, observing the correct polarity. To switch it on, press the lower-right side button; the device responds with two short beeps and flashes the LEDs twice. Press it again to switch it off after a longer beep.
Press the V button to select one of eight volume levels, shown continuously by the LED display. After maximum volume, the device returns to the silent range.
Press the T button to select one of eight different tones.
Press the S button to select one of eight sensitivity levels. Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to switch the blue night light on or off.
The V LED display indicates bite direction. During a run, the lights move upwards; on a drop-back bite, they move downwards. If the battery voltage falls below 5 V, the blue LED starts flashing.
USING THE RECEIVER: Insert a 9 V battery into the receiver, observing the correct polarity. Press the central side button to switch the unit on or off.
The V+ and V− buttons provide eight volume levels; at the lowest level, the device switches to vibration mode. A V-LED bar indicates bite direction. On a run, lights move up the LED bar and one beep sounds; two beeps and lights moving down indicate a drop-back bite.
The receiver has six differently coloured LEDs (red, blue, green, yellow, purple and white). The bite alarms are paired with the receiver at the factory, so the LED corresponding to the detected transmitter lights up at startup (flashing for 10 seconds) and when a bite is detected. The sixth (white) LED flashing with an audible signal indicates that the device's battery voltage has dropped below 5 V.
RE-PAIRING: Press the + and − buttons simultaneously; the red light turns on and a beep sounds. Turn the magnetic wheel (line guide roller) on the corresponding bite alarm. Two beeps from the receiver confirm that the device has been identified. Press the + button to set the next LED and its corresponding device (blue, green, yellow and purple). Programming ends when the white light flashes.
MAINTENANCE: Always remove the batteries after use and store the set without batteries. The set is waterproof. However, if water reaches the internal electronics and the bite alarm starts lighting or beeping continuously, remove the batteries and leave the rear cover open until it dries.
