Developed together with five-time world champion Alan Scotthorn, this mix is recommended primarily for competition fishing for bream and related species.
During testing, it helped win numerous competitions in England. Since feeder rods are also permitted in English competitions, the mix had to suit both float and feeder fishing.
It has also proved excellent in feeder baskets thanks to its fast breakdown and effective attraction. The finely flavoured meal starts dissolving as soon as it reaches the bottom, spreading fine particles over a large area near the lakebed.
Fish quickly identify these suspended particles with their sensitive senses and gather around the feed. Because the mix has high nutritional value, small quantities can be effective, so there is no need to scatter kilos of cheap groundbait. Its finely ground ingredients encourage fish drawn to the swim to take the hookbait first.
